Pets[/u]

Currently,(As of 2/28/08) there are 41 pets to choose from.
When you make an account upon this virtual pet site, you may choose to befriend, enslave, tolerate, liberate or ignore the ecritter population. When an account is made, the setting is automatically put to “Ignore”.

If you have created a pet, you can make a shop. In order for that shop to be in business, your pet must be both happy, and healthy (Meaning to have at least 50 health left, I believe). To do this, you get a toy, go to the items section on the sidebar, click a toy, and choose "Play with (Pet’s name here)"

There is a “meter” that tell you how happy your pet/s is/are. This is located on your pets’ lookup, (to find this, you need to click “Pets” on the sidebar, or the pet’s name directly from your lookup). "Very Happy" is the best and highest. It takes time for the meter to go down, so I suggest playing with them every 3 days or so.

If a pet gets pelted, a query will show up at the top of the page telling you so. This shows the user’s name that pelted you, what they used to pelt, the name of the pet of your that did get pelted, and the health that has been taken away. If you would like to find out more on the subject of pelting, find that section of my lookup.

In order to heal a pet after some damage has been done to it, go get an item such as a treasure map, ember stone, or a leaf pendant. Click "Items", then the item that will heal, and then "Heal (your pet’s name here)"

You can have as many pets as you want, however it would be a good idea to have as many as you can afford to keep happy, fed and healthy, if that is the type of the you care about here.

If you wish to be rid of a pet, you may buy a hammer for 15,000 eem from the Merchant’s shop, click Pets, Pound, then you may choose the pet you wish to be rid of from the drop-down list.




Shops[/u]

Shops are run by the pets that you assign to it. In order for it to be run, your pet needs to be both happy and healthy. (If you don't know what I mean by that, please refer back up to the pet's section.) The condition that it needs to be in is at "normal" or better.

Feed your pet, and then heal it, if that needs to be done. All of the eem that you get from the shop goes directly to your account. You don't need to worry about taking it out. The Total Eem shown on the shops page just shows how much has been earned from that shop in all, ever since you created it.

What you do to make a shop is go to the "Items" section on the side bar, click "Create Shop" and fill in the form. A name, description of the shop, and the pet you want to run it should be filled out.
(You can only have as many shops as you have pets.)

Once you have a shop ready and running, if you wish to see the stock, you click stop from the shops menu. If you wish to add items, go to your items page, click “Stock shops”, and from that list of items, choose your shop you wish to stock from the drop down list, and click on the right side column, which items you wish to go into that shop. You will need to price them afterwords.




Eem

Eem is the type of currency used on this site, or money.
In order to get eem, you play the games, get some from "Random Events", or sell items in your shop.

Once something is sold, the amount of eem that you had priced the item for will go straight to your account. As it is on other sites, you don’t need to bother to try and check your shops every so often and try to take the eem out.

If you play the games more than you should be able to, such as playing “Random Eem” on more than one account of yours, you may be warned by a staff member, frozen, or banned completely.

Random events are something that happens, well… randomly. So, there is no need to go around asking people to buy from your shop, give you items, etc if you don't even have enough to play "Random Eem", which by the way is 20 Eem...

People find it rude and bothersome to be asked for eem, unless they are other newbie helpers, or whatever they call themselves. Sometimes they will also pelt you if they are truly annoyed.




Items[/u]

One way to get items is to buy them. The human settlement is the buffet(term of speech here^-^) for buying items such as toys, food, healing items, rocks, gifts for others or your pet, and even some useless things here and there^^.

To buy the items, you need some eem. (Refer to eem section for more info) The price of the item you want is below the amount they have in stock. If it costs more than the amount you have, it won't allow you to buy it.

In order to get to the "Human Settlement", click "Items" on the sidebar, on the top row of the choices, second from the left, click "Human Settlement" and you're there.

Restock times
Different items restock on different time periods. Some restock every 15 minutes, others every 30 minutes, some every 285 or more. The restocks are always at multiples of fifteen minutes.

Pelting

"Pelting" is the term used on this site for when an item is thrown at a pet. In my opinion it isn't very nice, but then again, all you have to do is heal it.

How do I block people from pelting my pets?
The only sure way to avoid being pelted is to not have any pets or have all your pets dead. This however removes a small number of important features, including running a shop.

The most common item used to pelt a pet is a rock, however some toys, and other items also have the option to pelt.

In order to pelt another user's pet, you click on the item, and choose "Attack A Pet"
Click that, and type in the name of the pet.

Warning: some users will pelt you in return for revenge.((such as me, although I will only kill one of your pets. If you do pelt me, and kill one of my pets, and you don't have any, then I will refuse sevice of free items to you for a day or week or so.))

Note: If you would like a free rock or a free item, you may ask for a free rock once every day from the Rock Fountain, and a free item once every day from Estrella.

Please be sure that you donate to their cause as well, that is to provide rocks to those that wish for them!^-^




1 Eem Sales

In my shop, "(name changes now)" I hold 1 eem sales each Monday. I would suggest that if you are low on money, that you might want to get your plushies, pet's/your needs there on that day. Also, I have a schedule located within the same shop for other specials.

All 1 eem sales will be held within this shop.

100 eem Sale - All items within my shop are 100 eem, all items are bought within the Human Settlement for a slightly higher amount.
Item Giveaway, 2 Items Per One Day, Stock Day - I will give 2 random items to all who request it. Just send me an eemail by using a link that I have somewhere in my profile, or type it yourself. I also use this day for time to get items for the special sales and items I give away.
Newbie Giveaway Sale - All users who are less than one week old, if they request this, I will give them a newbie pack consisting of random items that they may sell for eem, or they may use for their pets.
1 eem Sale - All items will be priced at 1 eem within my shop.
Regular Sale - All items that can be bought within the human settlement will be priced the same as theirs. If any item is not found their, and I am selling it in my shop, It will be priced slightly lower than the lowest price in user shops.
Possible Contest start date: In the contest forum, I may start a contest of my own every Friday. Most will be short term.
Raffle - A link will be added sometime soon. Usernames will be written on a slip of paper to all who request one, and I will draw one at random. This will be in the contest forum as well.
