Pets: Look for the sunlight but still cant find it Dreams lost to eternity Sometimes I wish I could be blinded by it but my eyes are wide open as you can see I know this may make no sense but its the only thing I have to say I can barely move at night But cannot even do so in the day, Cast my eyes down at the mirror the face that stares out of my mist Holds scorn and doesnt care when the glass breaks under my fist, There are footsteps in this hall theres a shadow on the floor there might be another here but Im the only one at the door , Look at the bloody fire burning within each heart, I broke a promise to my reflection something I said Id never do but it happened and whats left Only me and you But I just cant face you Cant let you see this ashamed face that full of silent screams and empty tears concealed in a tiny glass vase I cant go back to where I came from and whoever thinks I can should just shut their mouths and listen to this poem again, There will be no sun for tomorrow There will only be rain and clouds I say to my friend its over weve gone around the wrong bend but all she does is smile and say No one can be so sure I love that girl with all my heart Shes the greatest friend I could ask for Only problem is were all alone with only each other in this nightmare Please let the sun shine through tomorrow Let her wake up and this just be a dream Let me be trapped forever if it means getting her out Id do anything just to see her happy so let her wake up and smile Let a sun be there for her tomorrow Let white clouds be on a blue sky let the night never fill her with fright Shes far too special So let her sun shine, Do you see the horizon a painting no one can capture Do you feel the wind blow A feeling no one can remember Once the world was still in a moment it was raging Once my soul was young in a moment it was aging Do you see the raven fly Something we can never hold to us Do see the cheetah run A freedom well never gain, I see the ravens made her nest in your eyes Shes got you thinkin that her love is a prize And you go under from the wave of her lies As the raven flies As the raven flies She tells you stories that just never sound true She tells you lies that were never new to you And as you come around shell send you back through Shes in love with you Shes in love with you Darker darker Dont let her talk her way into you Lonely lonely You know shes only no good for you Darker darker Dont let her talk her way into you Lonely lonely You know shes only no good for you When I see the ravens made her nest in your eyes Shes got you thinkin that her love is a prize And you go under from the wave of her lies As the raven flies As the raven flies As the raven flies As the raven flies, There are footsteps in this hall theres a shadow on the floor there might be another here but Im the only one at the door Cast my eyes down at the mirror the face that stares out of my mist holds scorn and doesnt care when the glass breaks under my fist I know what I look like without a mirror I cannot hide my face under a mask True it would crack then my face would be showing A hideous scar of human mass I cannot hide my mask of scars under a mask of lies I cannot feign a sheild of strength when my dead heart has ceased its tries, Burn marks everywhere on my pale skin as I walk on Burning sand beneath my feet as I stumble through this nightmare Ive been asleep for years when will I finally wake up Have I died in bed Have I gotten a shot to the head Why cant I wake up I want to see the sunlight again Not just a sky of gray I want the sun to shine back through white clouds and never see them gray again I want to never see the ocean next to the bloodied beach I walk on crimson I shut my eyes tight and try to blink the sleep away But when I open them theres the crimson sea And where can a girl go when shes lost and alone Where will I go Stop the bleeding flow I reach up to wipe away tears but my hand burns and when I bring it back down Im not surprised to see theyre blood not clear likes tears should be I want to blink and see regular tears and pretend it never happened I want to wake up But forever trapped I am I fall to the ground Ill never be found and my legs are too weak to go on And blood leaks out of my mouth and stains the ground crimson and I close my eyes Why cant I die Why cant I just wake up and cry, Please please forgive me But I wont be home again Maybe someday youll look up and barely concious youll say isnt something missing Isnt someone missing me
