| The Story ofShona and Shadow Lansing These two wolves have one of the closest bonds you could imagine. Brother and sister, Shona and Shadow had never left each other, even after the horible storm. They made a promise to each other that the would always stay in the same pack no matter how angry, sick, or grown up they were. They both share the same looks. They both have white fur, but Shona has brown eyes like her mother, while Shadow has his fathers magnificent blue eyes. The Lansing pack was one of the largest packs in the land until the night of March first. The moon was full and everyone was enjoying the sucessful hunt when it happened. The clouds began to swirl around in many circles. Suddenly loud thunder and lighting crashed every where shocking and even killing some of the wolves. While the adults tryed to find shelter they forgot all about the pups. There were five other pups who were to scared to do anything but cry. Shona and Shadow were wise and found an underground shelter. Then the rain came in. It was pratically like God was pouring down large bucket of water. A funnel formed out of the swirling clouds and the tornado pratically destroyed everything in its path. That morning everything was silent. Several dead wolves lay on the ground. Shona and Shadow had no idea if anyone was still alive but they were lucky that they no longer need their mothers milk anymore. They desided to move on and thats when they made the promise. Two years passed and they were still together but they hadn't found a pack yet. The three year olds were very eager to settle down into a pack and forget the dreaded past. | |
