Fuck you, bitch! Hope that got you punished. <3 To see my awards, visit this profile. QAS: A History The damn first one. Don't you forget it. As some of you may know, QAS is a fairly active RR user, one of the newer ones. She did not, however, begin like this. A long and twisting tale is behind the personality that is QAS, an ever-complex and shifting one. QAS, known as Mimi, first discovered a site called Neopets in March of the year 2001. She eagerly joined, under the account name "freeflyer5". Too young to make use of the forums, she began a crap guild, a shop, played games, and followed a fairly active plot. But the name freeflyer5 ceased to amuse her for any longer. The pets were displeasing, but she could not 'find it in her heart to abandon the poor things'. She switched her name over to Lightfiregrl, yes, the same one as on eC. =X Lightfiregrl was most certainly a highly used name. While still without access to the forums, QAS played Neo quite compulsively. She began to create multiple accounts, and to remember them she joined them all in her guild. One day, everything changed. QAS had created a username that she disliked on many levels. To rid herself of the account, she told the most intelligent child in her class the password. Unfortunately, the child had a brain. He tried the PW on Lightfiregrl. It worked. She could never log into the account again. QAS has vague recollections of the proceedings that followed. She fell back onto a duplicate account, foresthider. She itched to share her 'sob story' of Neo with the rest of Neopia. Tricking her parents into giving her parental consent, Foresthider joined the forums, an avid 1337-er. She encountered, on the Newbie board, her first 'regs'. She wanted desperately to be one. However, she had by and by given herself a bad name on the board. She found a new username. She cannot remember the entire name, but suspects it was something to the effect of 'Mistymoonlight'. She pretended to be a newbie. Asking several questions obvious to her, she began to be befriended by the regs as their protégé. However, she soon came into contact with Staggpub, a non-1337er devoted to helping new users. She used her false sob story to become part of Staggpub's exclusive Neofriends list. Things went on for a while, mingling with events of little importance. Two years after beginning her Neo addiction, QAS tried to log on one morning. At 9:47 AM on September 18, 2002, all of her accounts had been frozen. She played daily tombola on each. So many NP, which had meant so much to her, were gone. Crushed, QAS decided to quit Neo after a few futile attempts to regain her account or start a new one. She went in search of a new pet site, using a Google directory. This is how QAS came upon eCritters. Primarily, she joined with the name lightfiregrl. She became a well-known eCG user, over the summer of 2003. Though the site was not nearly as developed as Neo, QAS was drawn to the locality. (‘Everyone knows each other.') A small part of QAS's social development plays a large part in her eC time. You see, QAS, then lightfiregrl, thought she was damn punk. She wanted everyone else to know this. She made a post, which will remain generically referred to. It consisted of how 'posers' were horrible people who didn't listen to AFI. The feedback was horrendous. Several RR regulars flamed lightfiregrl, insulting her with perfect grammar. However, QAS had been affected by the leet. She didn't know how to respond. Though the post had been trivial and no one remembered it a week later, QAS's then-fragile psyche had been damaged. She used an old Neo tactic: publicly quit on lightfiregrl, and fell back onto Quirky Angel Santa, a duplicate she'd had. The rest of the story is rather similar to that of most eC users. QAS abandoned chatspeak/1337 and slowly joined the RR, after a short period of time on eCG trying to imitate Crazykathy. On the RR forum, QAS had a tough shell on. Basically the 'I-hate-everything-fuck-you' outlook. This was partially caused by the old wound of her parents' death being ripped back open. We won't get into that. QAS, however, spent much time on the RR forum. Slowly, she became more of herself. And after a long journey, she became the QAS you can see today: Known by most, non-1337, an avid poet, and journal-keeper. Don't bother her, however. She has taken an extreme dislike to "hi wuts up" posts, though she once made them herself. If you eemail her with the like, you'll be ignored or yelled at. The end. So commences the twisting online history of QAS. Life is still to be lived, however, and this could too become a chapter in a meaningless history. The Best family Tree EvAr. I do not rate my friends. I either like them or I don't. Extremely Tolerable, if not Fun, People. Silvertongue (IRL best friend) Max Bex Mooshy CJ Liz Annie Cin Quait Nerdz Draega (Lukewarm) Sushi. Half-baked cool. =P Leif Awwr. Teesa is cute, too. Can't think of anyone else. If I do know/like/care about you, eemail me and maybe I'll let you on if you're uber!cool. But maybe I'll smash your hopes and dreams. =X Your risk. THE ARTS SCALE -1- Damn, you suck. Get a fucking new hobby. -2- Yuck. Some effort might have been put into this, but it's still empty. -3- I bet a really smart kindergartener could have made this. You may or may not have spent time on it, depending on my opinion of you. -4- All right, I suppose. Not Van Gogh/Edgar Poe, but you will do. Don't however, go into this as your fucking job. Your talents are limited. -5- Average, obviously. Though you are not a genius, I commend you for trying to measure in the least way up to those with talent. -6- Good, in some terms. It could use much improvement, but not bad. Try harder, because somewhere inside there have to be a few points' worth left of talent. You could do better if you are good enough to get this score. -7- Nice. I like it. It has some sort of hookah that keeps me vaguely interested. If you were to go into the arts with this amount of talent, you would have a concentrated cult following. -8- This deserves a "Daaaaaaaamn." There are more positives than negatives in it. Actually, this is fucking great. Congratulations. You have managed to stir up some of my hard-to-come-by compliments. Unless you are already on my hate list, consider yourself respected. -9- Actually, I hate the number 9. If you get a 9, think of it as a -6. Which, I hope I need not explain, sucks. -10- This is the best piece of artwork I have ever seen. Consider yourself not only respected, but also idolized. Fweeee. |
