~~Kitty Demoness's Eecode Guide~~ Eecode is a code that you use on eCritters to make links, change text color, text size, etc. Please note that it does not work on forum or eemail topics. Text [/u]You can do lots of stuff with the text eecode. This will explain how you do it. These are some of the most basic ones. To get your text bold, you must type [ b ] water gun b ], only without the spaces. If done correctly, it will look like thisb] water gun[/b]. For it to look italic, type this [ i ] poetry i ], only without the spaces. If done correctly, it will look like thisi] poetry[/i]. Underlined text is just as easy. For underline text, type [ u ] handbook u ], only without the spaces. If done correctly, it will look like thisu] handbook[/u]. You can even change your text size. Put in words, and to end that text size put in size ]. If done correctly, it will be either bigger or smaller. Examplessize=18]Poof!Poof! Size can go down to 0, and go up to 50. If you want, you can change the text background. Type words, and to end it put in bg ]. If done correctly, it will look like thisbg=yellow] lemony. You can even strike out your text. Type [ s ] words, then type s ] to stop the striking out. It will look like thiss] illegal[/s]. Now let's learn how to change text color. Changing color is probably the most popular form of eecode used. To change color, type [ color=blue ] words, and to stop the color, type color ]. Remember, without the spaces. If done right, it will look like thiscolor=blue] the sky's pretty. Any color can substitute for blue. Examplescolor=purple] Purple. Red. Green. You can also make colors lighter and darker. To make them lighter, type [ color=lightgreen ], words, and without the spaces. It will look like thiscolor=lightgreen] grassy meadows To make colors darker put in [ color=darkorchid ] words, only without the spaces. When that is done, it will look like thiscolor=darkorchid] tropical flower Take note that you can use colors without light or dark in them, such as dodgerblue, palevioletred, tan, cadetblue, and thistle. Images and Links Images are very important, so are links. Ready to learn 'em? Images are important for profiles and siggies, so let's start with them first. First, find the link of the picture you want. Then put in [ image=link ]. It will automatically put the picture in. Example is [ image=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/Kitty_Demoness/PancakeBunny.png ]. The image is: Links are just as easy. Type [ link=wesite ] word or name, link ]. Without spaces. Take note that it can be ANY link to a website/picture/etc on the web. Examplelink=http://www.thedbarchives.com/] the dbarchives[/link] Don't see a difference, think that it's just underlined? Click on it. It will take you to the dbarchives homepage. Other Stuff This is about things that couldn't really fit into the 2 sections before this. We will start with acronyms. Type [ acronym=Blah ], put a word or sentence, then put acronym ], only without spaces. Exampleacronym=Hagaren] FMA[/acronym]. Don't see a difference? Hold your cursor over FMA. It should say Hagaren. Ready to align text? You can align it to the center, right, or left. It is autmatically placed left on every page. To align center, type [ align=center ] words, align ]. Only without spaces. Examplealign=center] Crystalline rain[/align]Do the same to move the text to the right or left, just change the word center. Sub. [ sub ] Hi-ho [/ sub]. Without spaces, it will look like this: _Hi-ho Sup. [ sup ] Phantom [/ sup].
