One day Charlie Bassett was out in the snow when he met up with Jacqui the Jolly Gerbil They loved to have adventures together Suddenly they found themselves next to a tall mountain How did we get here asked Charlie Bassett They looked around to see more Ive never been here before said his companion who turned around and screamed Charlie Bassett then found a secret passage to escape through They made a run for it but realised they must be trapped but to their amazement they found that they had grown wings. 'That was a close one' said Charlie Bassett , the shock clear in his voice. 'I've got an idea' said Jacqui the Jolly Gerbil. 'Let's mingle in the crowds at the races and make good our escape.' They got home safely and to this day they have never eaten cheese and pickle sandwiches again
